Yes — a modest trip minimum that we state up front before we book. The point of bundling your list into one visit is that each extra item costs very little once we're there. You'll always get a written, flat quote before work begins.
Yes. Steady Home Works LLC is fully liability-insured, and everyone who enters your home is background-checked. We're happy to provide proof of insurance for referrals from care agencies, landlords or property managers.
We handle the wide range of home tasks that don't require a licensed trade — repairs, mounting, carpentry, drywall, painting, hardware, caulking and safety accessories. Anything that legally requires a licensed electrician or plumber (new wiring, pipe work, panel changes) we leave to licensed pros, and we're straight with you about that line.
Most quotes are answered within one business day and most work is scheduled within the same week. Urgent safety items — a loose railing, a door that won't latch — get priority slots. We give you an arrival window and we keep it.
Yes. Send photos and a short list through the quote form and we'll usually quote without a site visit. For bigger lists or older homes we'll stop by, walk through with you, and leave you a written quote — free either way.
